Rig 02 has just completed monitoring bores for Brockman Resources at Marillana Stage Two.
Barber Drilling completed all bores within the time frame and budget given.
Barber Drilling has just extended their contract with FMG to include both Rig 01 and Rig 02 working at Cloudbreak. Rig 01 has been drilling 12" production bores and 6" monitoring bores successfully since June 2008.

Barber Drilling is proud to announce we have secured a contract with Fortescue at the Cloudbreak operation in Western Australia.
The contract will commences June 2008 and has seen the introduction of Rig 01 to the Australian operations after spending several years in service in New Zealand. The dual rotary rig has undergone a complete rebuild from the ground up.
Support vehicles have been purchased new and fitted out with standard safety features such as Hiab, handrails, emergency shut down and fire extinguishers.
The scope of work will include dewatering bores in the open cut operation and surrounding mining lease.
Barber Drilling has extended their contract with Fortescue Metals Group to include Solomons mine site near Tom Price, Western Australia.
Since the beginning of October 2008, Rig 02 have completed 16" bores, 12" pre-collars and 6" monitoring bores. Work was completed in December 2008.

Barber Drilling started drilling for the Rio Tinto Rail Expansion project at Brockman Four in September 2007.
The program consisted of Exploration Drilling, Production bore construction and Airlift development of existing bores. Depths drilled consisted of up to 6' to 16" diameter holes drilled to depths of 240 metres.
Barber Drilling has had a number of positive responses to their professional work and team management at Brockman Four.
